A short drive to Quarteira, Loule, Portimao with their markets. Or even to Silves, Alvor, Sagres, Cape St Vincent and Monchique. Quinta de Lago is only 15 minutes away too. 

Alternatively you can grab the bus (stops at the bottom of the hill beside Planalto) and take a day trip to Aqualand or another scheduled excursion. Take the train to Lisbon (only 2 hours away). You might even fancy taking a bus tour to Gibraltar.

Falesia Beach (as shown on the home page) is just a quick stroll (10 mins) down the road clean, well serviced with food and beach bars. All the usual beach activites exist (water skiing, jet skiing, parasailing and snorkeling).

Quarteira Strand is a beautiful, sea breeze walk for 1-2 miles. Ideal for joggers and power walkers. Many bars and cafes on route.

The usual waterpark extravaganza for all the family. A 10 minutedrive and your there. Planalto can arrnage your booking and transport in advance. Just ask at reception.

Shooting Range
Clay pigeon competition and coaching. Guns supplied. A great place to learn with all the comforts of a well kept clubhouse with all the usual services. Great craic for a small group of people!
